Press Release: FVOP Adds Senior Project Managers Among Five New Staffers

F&V Operations and Resource Management, Inc. (FVOP) of Grand Rapids announced today the hiring of five new operations staff including two senior project managers.

Jason Williams and Scott Reece joined FVOP as senior project managers. Other new hires include operations specialists Don VanLander, Josh Jackson and Alex Christensen.

The five new employees will assist the FVOP team in operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities and transmission systems.

“We’re always looking to add new staff – entry level or experienced,” said Blair Selover, FVOP group manager. “And we really like the experience the senior project managers bring to the firm.”

Williams is a former city lead operator and lab manager and trainer/instructor for the Michigan Water Environment Association. The U.S. Navy veteran will be working on southwest Michigan projects.

Reece, a former operations supervisor for one of the state’s most populated cities, has more than seven years of experience in wastewater treatment facilities. He joins the southeast Michigan staff.

VanLander joins FVOP with 27 years of wastewater operations experience, including being the main sewage plant operator for Michigan’s largest city. He will work in southeast Michigan.

Jackson and Christensen join FVOP as entry-level operations specialists. Jackson will be working on northeast Michigan projects. Christensen, who recently received his associate’s degree in science and arts from Northwestern Michigan College, will work on southwest Michigan projects.

FVOP provides operations and management services for municipal, industrial and environmental systems. Partnering with clients, the goal is to operate the facilities efficiently and cost-effectively and extending the life of the facilities through proper maintenance. FVOP supports their staff through training, and on-going certifications to enhance their professional development.
