FVOP Attending: MWEA – June 20 – 22

FVOP and F&V staff are preparing for a big week at the Michigan Water Environment Association’s 91st Annual Conference that begins Sunday with a welcome reception at Deer Lake on Boyne Mountain property in Boyne Falls. Eight staffers will be attending including Rich Grant, Kim Maurice, Jeff Pugh, Dave Johnson, Allen Gelderloos, Josh Redner, Blair Selover and Cath Garnham.

Josh is coordinating Sunday’s Paddle With Purpose Water For People Canoe Trip on the Jordan River and F&V is sponsoring the MWEA golf outing and will have a foursome playing in it. The events will be held prior to the reception. Josh has been involved in the three-hour canoe trip, a fundraiser for Water for People, for the last three years.

Rich will be presenting SWIM for Safe Water on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m.. talking about the Safe Water International Ministries which is saving lives worldwide.

Jeff will be honored at Tuesday’s noon luncheon as the Outstanding Environmental Consultant.

F&V and FVOP staff will run adjoining booths at the conference.
